Do You Suffer From Menstrual Migraines?

Menstrual Migraine Clinical Research ImageMenstrual migraines are caused by a rapid drop in estrogen levels that occurs right before your period. It is estimated that 25% of women who suffer from migraines suffer from menstrual migraines. Menstrual migraines are considered harder to treat, more disabling, tend to last longer, and have a higher chance of recurrence.

Clinical research is underway at Deaconess Clinic to study an investigational oral medication for the preventive treatment of menstrual migraine. Qualified participants receive study-related medical care and study medication at no cost.
