Do You Have Heart Failure with Impaired Kidney Function?

Heart Attack or ACS Clinical Research ImageHeart failure is a serious condition in which the heart muscle becomes too weak to properly pump blood through the whole body. Heart failure symptoms may include shortness of breath, tiredness and swelling of certain tissues. People with heart failure often also have reduced kidney function, which further increases the risk of heart problems and death.

Deaconess physicians are currently participating in a clinical research study of an investigational medication for heart failure in people with impaired kidney function. If you suffer from heart failure and have impaired kidney function, we invite you to consider participation in this clinical research study. Qualified study participants will receive study-related exams and study medication at no cost during the course of the study, as well as reimbursement for time and travel. Health insurance is not required for participation.
