Psoriasis

Plaque psoriasis is a long-term disease of the immune system that can cause red, scaly patches called “plaques” to appear on the body. These plaques are most commonly found on the elbows, knees, scalp and lower back. They can cause itching and pain, and they may bleed.
Deaconess Dermatology physicians are participating in a national clinical research study of an investigational medication for psoriasis. If you have psoriasis, you may qualify to participate in this clinical research study. All participants will receive study-related medical care and study medication at no cost and may receive compensation for time and travel.
Health insurance is not required and participation is voluntary.
