Have You Recently Had a Heart Attack or Acute Coronary Syndrome?

AsthmaAcute coronary syndrome (ACS) is an event in which blood flow to the heart is suddenly blocked. Heart attacks and unstable angina are both forms of ACS. Patients who have recently suffered from an acute coronary event are at very high risk for suffering from another coronary event in the near term.

Deaconess Heart Group physicians are currently participating in a national clinical research study of an investigational medication to see if it can reduce the recurrence of cardiovascular events in patients with ACS.

If you have recently suffered a heart attack or acute coronary syndrome, we invite you to consider participation in this important clinical research study. Qualified study participants will receive study-related medical care and study medication at no cost during the course of the study and compensation for time and travel. Health insurance is not required for participation.
