Medication Management for All Ages
We offer outpatient medication consultations with our psychiatry staff including psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, and clinical nurse specialists. These experts are trained in assessment and medication management for a variety of behavioral health conditions.
During a medication consultation, the psychiatric practitioner will review medication history, allergies, medical conditions, current symptoms, length and severity of symptoms, family history, and other information to develop a full understanding of how the condition affects you. Based on the evaluation findings, the practitioner will determine if medication would be helpful and make recommendations for the appropriate type of treatment. If medication is recommended, Cross Pointe staff will monitor your experience with the treatment to make sure you receive the maximum benefit of the medication while reducing any negative side effects that may occur.
