Heart Hospital Re-Accredited by HFAP

2/5/2018
The Heart Hospital was awarded re-accreditation by HFAP

The Heart Hospital was awarded re-accreditation by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), the nation’s original independent, accreditation organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Accreditation confirms that The Heart Hospital is providing high quality care as determined by an independent, external process of evaluation.

“We are committed to providing an excellent patient care experience in a unique environment that promotes prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of heart and vascular disease,” said Becky Malotte, Executive Director and Chief Nursing Officer. “Receiving HFAP accreditation is an external symbol of the talent and dedication of our doctors, nurses, providers, and staff.”

About The Heart Hospital
The Heart Hospital is the region's only acute care hospital dedicated to heart and vascular care.  Its unique concept of a "universal bed care model" provides a safer and more convenient hospital stay where patients receive all levels of care in one room.

The Heart Hospital was recently awarded a Five Star ranking for excellence by Hospital Compare and CMS.

The Heart Hospital at Deaconess Gateway is a jointly physician owned facility between Deaconess Health System and area cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons of Heart Physicians LLC- both Tri-State leaders in the care and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
