Eight doctors, practicing in medical oncology, radiology and plastic/reconstructive surgery, have been named certified physicians of MD Anderson Cancer Network
®, a program of MD Anderson Cancer Center.
The newly certified doctors are:
- Dr. Amy Braden, Oncologist/Hematologist, Deaconess Cancer Services
- Radiologists Dr. Jugesh Cheema, Dr. Lee Hoagland, Dr. Marc Johnson, Dr. Janine Morris, Dr. John Sutkowski and Dr. Craig Triola of Evansville Radiology
- Dr. Guido Gutter, plastic/reconstructive surgeon at The Women’s Cancer Center
They join 12 colleagues who are also network certified physicians in areas of medical, radiation and surgical oncology, and subspecialties of gynecologic oncology and urologic oncology.
“By having certified physicians in all cancer-related specialties, this means that patients can receive a higher level of expertise throughout the continuum of cancer care: diagnosis, treatment (surgery, medical and radiation oncology) and if needed, reconstructive surgery,” said Debra Wilson, RN, MSN, Director of Deaconess Cancer Services.
Deaconess Cancer Services became a certified member of the network in July, 2016. MD Anderson is one of the leading cancer centers in the nation. Full details about Deaconess’ affiliation with MD Anderson Cancer Network can be found at
