CARE Team
Our Call Assessment Referral Evaluation Team – CARE Team – is composed of licensed social workers trained to assist each person with their individual mental health and/or chemical dependency needs.
Staff are available 24/7/365 in the Emergency Room.
CARE Team assessments can also be completed in-person or virtually through our Behavioral Health Urgent Care.

Emergency Situations:

While our CARE Team is based out of Deaconess Cross Pointe, our team members travel to areas within the health system to evaluate patients who need our help. We also use computers to conduct mental health evaluations at neighboring hospitals. This is called telemedicine and occurs through a secure video feed between the hospitals.
There is no charge for a CARE Team evaluation and all evaluations are 100% confidential.
