The Heart Hospital

The Heart Hospital is the region's only acute care hospital dedicated to heart and vascular care. Its unique concept of a "universal bed care model" provides a safer and more convenient hospital stay where patients receive all levels of care in one room. The Heart Hospital at Deaconess Gateway is a jointly physician owned facility between Deaconess Health System and area cardiologist and cardiovascular surgeons of Heart Physicians LLC- both Tri-State leaders in the care and treatment of cardiovascular disease.


National Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month, dedicated to educating the public about what sudden cardiac arrest is and how to respond to a cardiac arrest.
Sudden cardiac arrest is when the heart suddenly stops beating, resulting in no blood flow to the brain and other vital organ.  There are more than 350,000 deaths occur each year as a result of sudden of sudden cardiac arrest.  Receive CPR training and know the location of AED’s  - You can save a life.
