    Does Your Child Suffer from Migraine?

    Pediatric Migraine Clinical Research ImageA migraine attack is a pounding or throbbing headache that can last for hours or days. Symptoms of migraine may include severe pain, nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light and/or sound.

    Clinical research is underway at Deaconess Clinic to study the effectiveness and safety of an investigational medication for migraine prevention in children. To qualify, participants must be age 12 to 17 and suffer from migraine. Qualified participants will receive study-related physician visits and investigational study medication at no cost, as well as compensation for time and travel.
