    Family Medicine Introduction Block

In order to ensure a smooth transition from medical student to resident, we provide a robust four week orientation for our residents at the beginning of their PGY1 year. During this time, residents:

    • Meet with various hospital departments
    • Rotate with upper level residents on inpatient service rotations and in the family medicine clinic
    • See patients in the family medicine clinic
