Does Your Child Suffer from Migraines?

A migraine is a pounding or throbbing headache that can last for hours or days. Symptoms of migraines may include severe pain, nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light or sound.

Clinical research is underway at Deaconess Clinic to study
the effectiveness and safety of an investigational
medication for migraine prevention in children. To qualify,
participants must be age 12 to 17 and suffer from migraine.
Qualified participants will receive study-related physician visits
and investigational study medication at no cost, as well as compensation for time and travel.
