    Deaconess Midtown Campus is a Level 2 Trauma Center treating traumas from all reaches of the tristate area.


    Deaconess is prepared for your emergency 24/7, ready to handle life-threatening illness and severe injuries including:

    • Heart Attacks 
    • Stroke 
      • Deaconess Gateway Hospital is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by ACHC, providing the highest level of stroke care.
      • Deaconess Midtown Hospital is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center by ACHC, and works collaboratively with Gateway. 
    • Severe injuries, burns or electrical shock
    • Amputation
    • Pediatric Emergency Care - the Deaconess Emergency Departments are recognized as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP).
