Deaconess Memorial Welcomes Dr. Astha Bhardwaj

Deaconess Memorial Medical Center is pleased to announce that Astha Bhardwaj, M.D. is joining the staff of Deaconess Clinic Family Medicine – Dorbett Street, located at 1005 Dorbett Street in Jasper.  The clinic location, formerly home to Dr. Martha Yearsley’s primary care practice, is now part of Deaconess Clinic.  

Dr. Bhardwaj received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in St. George’s, Grenada. She completed her family medicine residency at Indiana University School of Medicine Residency Program – Jasper. 

For the past three years, Dr. Bhardwaj has served as a primary care physician at Deaconess Clinic Downtown Primary Care in Evansville, Indiana. She also served as an adjunct clinical assistant professor of family medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine – Evansville. She currently lives in Dubois County with her husband and is looking forward to returning to work in the community.
