Deaconess Illinois Crossroads Announces New CAO
Deaconess Illinois announces the appointment of Kevin Goss, MHA, FACHE, as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Deaconess Illinois Crossroads.
Goss brings more than a decade of progressive healthcare leadership experience with a demonstrated record of advancing operational performance, driving strategic growth and leading transformation across rural and multi-site health systems.
Most recently, Goss served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations at Jersey Community Hospital District, where he provided executive leadership for system-wide operations, overseeing more than 150 employees, 45 physicians and advanced practice providers and multiple clinical service lines. During his tenure, he led key initiatives to expand access to care, enhance operational efficiency and implement large-scale capital and infrastructure projects.
Goss is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), having achieved board certification in January 2026. He has also been recognized by the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network as a “4 Under 40” honoree, highlighting his leadership and contributions to rural healthcare.
