Dr. Maria Dodson Joins Deaconess Memorial Medical Center's Pediatric Hospitalist Program
Pediatric Hospitalist Maria Dodson, DO has joined the medical staff at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center. A pediatric hospitalist specializes in caring for newborns, infants, children, and teenagers when they are admitted to the hospital. They manage inpatient treatment, coordinate with other specialists, and communicate recovery updates back to the child’s pediatrician or primary health care provider.
Dr. Dodson received her medical degree at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis and completed a pediatric residency through IU School of Medicine at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She is a member of the Indiana Osteopathic Association and the American Osteopathic Association.
