Welcome Dr. Amy Holthouser to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center

Pediatric Hospitalist Amy Holthouser, MD has joined the medical staff at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center. A pediatric hospitalist specializes in caring for newborns, infants, children, and teenagers when they are admitted to the hospital. They manage inpatient treatment, coordinate with other specialists, and communicate recovery updates back to the child’s pediatrician or primary health care provider.

Dr. Amy Holthouser received her medical degree and completed an internal medicine/pediatrics residency at University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. An award-winning, expert clinician and educator known for her excellence, compassion and teamwork, Dr. Holthouser has served as a pediatric hospitalist and teaching attending for the past 20 years at Norton’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.
