Meredith Carnes Joins Deaconess Memorial Medical Center's Pediatric Hospitalist Program

Physician Assistant Meredith Carnes has joined the medical associate staff at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center. She serves as a provider in Deaconess Memorial’s new pediatric hospitalist program, which specializes in caring for newborns, infants, children, and teenagers when they are admitted to the hospital. They manage inpatient treatment, coordinate with other specialists, and communicate recovery updates to the child’s pediatrician or primary health care provider.

Meredith has over 10 years of healthcare experience serving as a pharmacy tech at Deaconess Memorial. She recently earned her Master of Physician Assistant Science degree at University of Evansville and completed pediatric hospitalist training at Deaconess Gateway and The Women’s Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
