Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC)
Purpose
The Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) serves as a collaborative forum where patients, families, and healthcare professionals partner to improve the quality, safety, and experience of care. The council provides input, feedback, and recommendations to ensure that patient and family perspectives are integrated into organizational decision-making.
Mission Statement
We put people at the center of everything we do, making a positive difference in the lives of our patients, families, employees and community- that is The Deaconess Difference
What PFAC Does

- Serves as a voice for our community, ensuring decisions are made with patients, not just for them
- Collaborates with leaders and staff to build a more patient-centered culture
