I've been coming there for about 13 yrs and never had any complaints. I've always been treated well.
I think it may have just been an off day because I normally would be all 5 stars. But the honest truth is that I brought up some concerns and felt like they were brushed off without listening to my full concerns. Previously this was not my experience with seeing her, so I really think it may have been just a bad time of day. Also I do still feel like there is a possibility to discuss things further and be supported in a future appointment, and overall I still feel like Dr. Akabogu is my most supportive specialist provider who listens and involves me in my care, and is always kind, supportive and empathetic even on a visit like this that felt a little like an off-day maybe for energy or mental bandwidth maybe?
I have a very good doctor. She caring and takes the time to listen to your concerns at answer any questions you may have.

Dr. Ababogu is an excellent doctor. She listens, is very knowledgeable, professional, and caring. She works with my other doctor at IU when needed.
She listened to my concerns and that was it. Was not compassionate or helpful concerns about how I was feeling. She was all About getting me sheduled for an ultra sound. She wanted to know if I knew about the nodules in in thyroid, yes , I had them for about 30 years. Told her I was pretty tired and I noticed I lost about 5 lbs.
Dr. Akabogu is an awesome person, she really, really listens and answers my concerns and questions
Cannot say enough about the doctor . I wish she could be my Go. Explained all my lab results in detail. Answered all of my questions in detail. She us the best!
