I felt listened to and heard.
The doctor took far too long to stop directing his gaze and questions at my husband instead of me, the patient. Despite having many new symptoms and complications I was told they're "unrelated". I waited 8 months, drove 2 hrs one way, just to be told nothing besides to do more yoga. I won't be returning and will transfer my rheumatology care to St. Louis.
I felt a little pressure to commit to a new treatment that I really wasn't ready to commit to. While I understood the potential benefits of the new regimen, I should have taken more time for consideration..
