I appreciate how Dr. Koon not only explained the new medication to me, but also to my child. My son felt like he was part of the decision making process. Dr. Koon also explained to my son why he is feeling such a wide range of emotions and gave him practical tools on how to appropriately handle outbursts of anger. Since the appointment, my son has been putting into practice Dr. Koon's advice and his emotional regulation has been significantly better.
Dr. Koon explained what he was doing, keeping my child at ease, even asking if she would like to hear her heartbeat through the stethoscope. He spoke to her in a way she understood and made the visit for pleasant for her.
Dr Koon is amazing! He has made all the difference to us in raising our boys. He is not only helpful with medication but with behavior concerns. He is kind and encouraging to both of our boys. They love seeing and talking to him each visit. We love the difference he's made in our boys.
