I would like to know my patient beyond their medical condition. I want to involve the family and understand the patient's beliefs, goals, and expectations. I try to incorporate this with evidence-based medicine and design a plan for their health.

Dr Kodali walked in and asked how my medicine was going. She took me off the medicine last year. I am 8 years out from my diagnosis. Total time for the appointment was 2 hours. I always give a pass because I know from my own experience there are so many questions as a new patient but this appointment has me saying no more. I will not got back to Dr Kodali. I felt unknown and unheard from the minute I walked in until I walked out. I get zero benefit from seeing her to know my cancer has not come back.
Dr. Kodali is an excellent oncologist. I don't mind to occasionally wait longer for her because I know she cares about her patients and is very professional.
