Dr Adam Henson is such a great doctor that if he left Deaconess, I would, too. I'm there because of Adam. The staff at the Carterville clinic is fantastic, Allison, Caleb and Sydney are all excellent. They're why I'm a patient here.
I had a few issues I wanted to talk about, but we only dealt with one. It was important to me to address that issue, but I was hoping to have a little more time to discuss what I had noted on my intake survey.

It is obvious, to me, that Dr Henson and his entire staff really care about their patients. I am very happy to say that Dr Henson listens and answers all of my questions which makes me very comfortable communicating with him. I have no issues or problems with either him or his staff and happy to give them the highest marks.

Dr Henson knows my opposition to taking a lot of meds and always provides multiple options that respect that. He always focuses me on healthy lifestyle options as opposed to pushing drugs. He will tell it like it is when necessary but in a realistic practical respectful way. He makes It extremely easy to find the best option for me - not just generic for all or trendy treatments.
I came to Deaconess because I was having problems getting a diagnosis and care plan from my previous provider. Previous doctor provider was good, but the wait time to get through the system was terrible. Example: 15 days to get an X-ray read. With Deaconess, I got an appointment, saw the doctor, had a diagnosis and a care plan the same afternoon. Dr. Henson was able to diagnose a _________ injury, explain it in detail, answer my questions, showed me some __________ exercises, and gave me a couple of options for care, taking what I wanted into consideration. He checked the prescription he gave me against the other medications I'm taking, printed everything out. He took his time. I didn't feel rushed and I felt he listened to all of my concerns.
We didn't talk about alternative options to a ______ machine. Got sidetracked and I forgot to ask since I returned the machine

I think people would be willing to wait a little longer if it meant giving themselves 5 more minutes of doctor time. A question for you surgery perhaps?
