Conditions We Treat
At Urogynecology and Pelvic Rehabilitation, we provide specialized services needed to help you live a fuller, healthier and more confident life. Whether you are experiencing female bladder or pelvic issues, our team is here to help you. Conditions we treat include:
- Bowel incontinence: Occurs when the muscle that controls a bowel movement is too weak and allows leakage of stool.
- Chronic pelvic pain: Pain below a woman’s belly button and in between the hips that has lasted for six months or longer.
- Interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome: Chronic bladder condition. It's often mistaken for a urinary tract infection (UTI), but there is no infection. Symptoms include bladder and pelvic pain or pressure and a frequent urge to urinate.
- Pelvic organ prolapse: Occurs when the vagina and/or uterus have dropped from their normal position in the pelvis.
- Urinary incontinence and stress urinary incontinence: Conditions involving loss of bladder control. The severity ranges from occasionally leaking urine when coughing or sneezing to having an urge to urinate that's so sudden and strong you don't get to a toilet in time.
