During your pregnancy, your obstetrician or family doctor may refer you to a perinatologist. A perinatologist is also called a maternal-fetal medicine doctor and has special training to care for health conditions or pregnancy-related complications. If you are referred to this higher level of care, rest assured that Tri-State Perinatology at The Women’s Hospital will provide compassionate, highly-skilled, individualized care for you and your baby. Our physicians and team work with your OB doctor to provide care and minimize risks associated with high-risk pregnancy.
