Do you have Hypothyroidism?

Hypothyroidism is a common condition in which the thyroid doesn’t produce enough of certain hormones. Symptoms of hypothyroidism may include fatigue, weight gain, hair loss and feeling cold. One of the most common medications used to treat hypothyroidism is levothyroxine—but many patients are not satisfied with this treatment.

Deaconess Clinic is participating in a clinical research study of an investigational medication for people age 18-75 who are currently taking levothyroxine for hypothyroidism. Qualified participants will receive study-related physician visits, labs and investigational study medication at no cost, as well as compensation for time and travel.
