Diabetic Macular Edema

Diabetic macular edema is when the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of your eye, becomes swollen due to damage from diabetes.

Talley Eye Institute doctors are currently participating in a global clinical research study of an investigational treatment for patients with decreased vision due to diabetic macular edema.

Qualified study participants receive study drug at no charge and may also receive compensation for time and travel.
