The Women’s Hospital is the #4 Place to Work in the Nation

9/29/2017
Modern Healthcare Magazine announced the ranked order of its 2017 Best Places To Work  list at an awards banquet in Las Vegas, and The Women’s Hospital was recognized as the #4 healthcare provider workplace in the nation.

Organizations named as part of the recognition program have demonstrated a work environment where employees are empowered to perform at their optimum level and to provide patients and customers with the best possible care, products and services. This is the tenth year the list has been compiled and the 8th year for The Women’s Hospital to be included.

Human Resources Director Susie Traylor said, “We hear feedback from our employees that they appreciate the open lines of communication between employees and physicians, managers and administrators. This results in an environment of compassion, teamwork, autonomy and value. This culture has also contributed to our high employee retention rates and a consistently high employee engagement rate of 97 percent.”

CEO Christina M. Ryan added, “Our team has created and maintained a culture that has allowed us to receive this award for eight consecutive years, and we are both honored and humbled to achieve this designation. But the true winners are our employees, as they have provided an environment that allows all team members to feel valued and appreciated.”

A comprehensive list of Best Places to Work award recipients, and more information on the awards program, are available on Modern Healthcare’s site, www.modernhealthcare.com. The Women’s Hospital competes in the Provider/Insurer category.
