HENDERSON, KY – Deaconess Henderson Hospital Advisory Board is pleased to announce its third
annual grant cycle for nonprofit organizations located in Henderson County. The Deaconess Henderson
Hospital (DHH) Community Program Fund will award a total of $85,000.
The DHH Community Program Fund is a result of the merger of Methodist Hospital and Deaconess
Health System. At the time of the merger, funds were approved to be used each year to promote the health
and well-being of the citizens of Henderson County.
Grant proposals will be accepted from all interested non-profit organizations serving Henderson County,
Kentucky. The grant application window will run from January 31 to February 28 (before 5 p.m.);
winners will be announced in Spring 2025.
Grant monies will go to those organizations addressing the four areas identified in the current Henderson
County Community Health Needs Assessment. These areas include mental health, substance abuse,
obesity/diabetes and health equity/access. Other health related community programs such as those
promoting wellness, providing access to health screening, and preventing illness will also be considered.
Grants should also focus on improving the quality of life for Henderson County families. Other health
