Bone Health

Bones are living tissue that constantly change. From birth until peak bone mass in their early 20s, people’s bones develop and get stronger. With age, some bones lose density at a higher rate than the body can make new bone cells. This causes bones to become more porous, brittle and likely to break.

People experiencing significant loss in bone density have osteoporosis. Bone loss not significant enough to be osteoporosis is considered osteopenia. Both conditions occur over time – often without any symptoms - and are frequently discovered after suffering a bone break or fracture.

Our team helps patients who have osteoporosis or osteopenia to strengthen their bodies, minimize bone loss and decrease the chances of fracturing or breaking a bone.
