United StatesNew York Dominican Village
565 Albany Avenue
Amityville, New York 11701
Organization Description: Dominican Village is an Independent and Assisted Living Retirement Community founded by the Sisters of St. Dominic. We are a non-sectarian, not-for-profit community whose mission is to value the dignity of the human person, serve with excellence and enable freedom of choice, companionship, interdependence and peace.
Needs: We have 200 Independent Living Apartments and 66 Assisted Living apartments along with 110 staff who are in desperate need of masks for our staff and residents in the hopes of keeping COVID-19 at bay. Our PPE order is on back order and although we have gratefully received donations by our local community we still are far short in keeping all of our residents and staff protected without re-using the ones on hand. We would humbly accept any amount of masks you are willing to donate, but ideally if we could have 380 Adult size masks that would cover each person on our campus.
