Organization Description:
Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, founded in 1934 and located in Monterey CA, has grown and evolved in direct response to the changing healthcare needs of the people it serves.
It is a nonprofit healthcare provider with 258 licensed hospital beds and 28 skilled-nursing beds, delivering a continuum of care from birth to end of life, and every stage in between.
It serves the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding communities through locations including the main hospital, outpatient facilities, satellite laboratories, a mental health clinic, a short-term skilled nursing facility, Hospice of the Central Coast, and business offices.
Needs:
Community Hospital is now accepting sewn, cloth masks. We are currently promoting a 2000 mask challenge to our community. We do not have a required pattern or fabric, but they should be similar to the one recommended by the CDC, and they should be washable. Professional-looking fabrics are appreciated. These masks will be used by healthcare workers who are not providing direct patient care, but are not always able to maintain a distance of 6 feet or more due to their job.
