As women, we are linked by a common threat - breast and gynecological cancer. Despite medical progress, these cancers remain leading killers among women. The best approach to beating these diseases is early detection. Yet, thousands of area women are unable to receive the detection they desperately need. They need your help— help you can provide by simply playing golf.
Thanks to the caring and generous people of the Tri-State and our supporters, the Deaconess Classic for Women's Health has accumulated proceeds of more than $2,000,000. These funds have helped to provide more than 12,000 mammograms and pelvic ultrasounds for women in need in the community.
The Deaconess Classic for Women's Health is a volunteer-led women's golf tournament committed to increasing awareness of women's health and the importance of early detection and raise funds for the health care of women. A morning golf clinic led by an LPGA member, brunch, afternoon golf scramble, and evening dinner are all included in the event. See photos from our most recent event, below.
Thank you to our generous 2017 sponsors and donors!
LPGA Guest Pros
Since our first Deaconess Classic for Women’s Health in 1995, we have been fortunate to have the support of many LPGA players. Most recently, we hosted Kim Kaufman at our 23rd annual Deaconess Classic.
While you're supporting women's health care in the community, don't forget to schedule your own mammogram!
