Deaconess Family Medicine Wallace M. Adye Center

The Deaconess Family Medicine Residency Program is housed in a 15,000-square-foot space that has 24 exam rooms and 3 treatment rooms.  The center has offices for residents, faculty and support staff. The residents have individual modular desks and workspace located on the second floor of the facility in a 4,000 square foot area. The center and hospital utilize the Epic electronic medical record, a state-of-the-art computer application that allows physicians and staff members to care for patients more effectively.

The center is named in honor of Dr. Wallace M. Adye, former Family Medicine Residency director, for his contributions to the advancement of medical education at Deaconess Hospital. Dr. Adye also helped to enhance the quality of life for people in the Tri-State through his leadership of the Deaconess Family Medicine Program from 1978 to 1995. Dr. Adye was honored in 2004 with the title, Director Emeritus, for his tireless devotion to promoting medical education at Deaconess Hospital.

labMedical services provided at the Family Medicine Center include free immunizations for infants and children, prenatal care and delivery, work and school physicals, care for occupational and sports injuries, including minor surgeries and repair of lacerations, flu shots, pneumonia and hepatitis B vaccines and free adult tetanus boosters. Care at the center is delivered under the direct guidance of the Residency Director, Kim Volz, M.D.

  Deaconess Gateway Hospital
A 145-bed, not-for-profit hospital located just east of Evansville, providing a full range of acute-care services.   Services include emergency medicine, surgical services, heart care services, intensive care and more. Comprehensive pediatric services are provided through a partnership with Riley Hospital for Children
  The Women's Hospital
The only freestanding hospital within a 100-mile radius of Evansville that is dedicated solely to serving the health care needs of women and infants. With a special focus on family-centered care, The Women’s Hospital provides 28 Labor/delivery/recovery/post-partum (LDRP) rooms, three high-risk antepartum rooms, 19 medical-surgical beds, six surgical suites; two dedicated to Cesarean sections, two well-baby nurseries, a Level III NICU unit staffed by board-certified Riley neonatologists, 10 observation (23-hour stay) rooms, and 24-hour, in-house obstetrical anesthesia services.
  Deaconess Cross Pointe
Provides mental health services to meet the emotional and behavioral health care needs of teens, adults, seniors and their families. The east-side Evansville facility is fully accredited and offers care and treatment at all levels through outpatient programs and a 60-bed inpatient facility.
