G. Rex Stroud, MD
Dr Stroud is a 2001 graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine. His undergraduate work was performed at Oakland City University with majors in Biology and English. Dr. Stroud completed his first year of residency in Family Medicine at Naval Hospital Jacksonville in Florida. After his first year, he chose to serve the Navy as a General Medical Officer for four years, first as Battalion Surgeon of 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; then as Medical Officer for Naval Support Activity Crane in Indiana. After leaving the service, Dr. Stroud resumed and finished his family medicine training at Deaconess Family Medicine Residency in Evansville, IN.
Dr. Stroud also has a private family medicine practice in Washington, IN. He has experience in correctional medicine, emergency medicine/urgent care, occupational medicine, combat/disaster medicine, and sports medicine (Boxing and MMA).
