Linda White, CEO, Named Distinguished Citizen

At a celebration held Tuesday night, May 7, 2013, the Buffalo Trace Council, Boy Scouts of America, recognized Linda White, President and CEO of Deaconess Health System, with the Distinguished Citizen Award. This honor is given to someone who models the Scout Oath and Scout Law in their everyday life. A few of these scout traits include being trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, brave, and reverent. As the CEO of Deaconess, Linda White has exemplified these characteristics in the hospital as well as the Evansville community.
Several Deaconess and community leaders worked with the Buffalo Trace Council to create a video that highlights some of the many reasons this award was well deserved. Please click below to view the video.
