The Deaconess Primary Stroke Center, a JCAHO Certified/Gold Seal of Approval-winning stroke program, is offering a comprehensive stroke and aneurysm screenings event on Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14, 7:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the Deaconess Gateway Hospital Conference Center.

The comprehensive screenings package, at a cost of $179 (or two for $299), includes: • Electrocardiogram (EKG) test • Stroke/carotid artery ultrasound test • Abdominal aortic aneurysm ultrasound • Ankle/brachial index (ABI) leg/ extremity arterial circulation test

These screenings are “fee-for-service,” and a physician order is not required. The ultrasound tests will be read by board certified radiologists; you will be notified of your results at a later date.
