The Deaconess Foundation raises and disburses money to support the medical, charitable and educational activities of Deaconess Health System in the southern Indiana Tri-State area. With the generous help of past patients, their families, employees, community philanthropists, volunteers and others who share the Deaconess vision, the Foundation has been able to increase access to health care throughout the Tri-State region.

What Programs Does the Foundation Support?
Directly or indirectly, all contributions to the Deaconess Foundation enhance the quality of health care available to Tri-State residents through programs such as charity care for indigent patients, screenings and health programs for the community, the purchase of medical equipment for the hospital, and education for health care professionals.
