Healthy living involves more than regular checkups from your doctor. It requires awareness of your family medical history, understanding the consequences of unhealthy behaviors, and knowledge to prevent illness and injury.

Deaconess Resource Center is the heart of wellness at Deaconess. Promoting healthy lifestyles, we provide a direction that is designed to fit each participant to set the individual on a course to better health.

We offer a variety of health information and services for the Tri-State community:

• Deaconess Lifeline - A medical alert service where help is only the push of a button away.
• Educational Programs - on a variety of health and wellness topics.
• Fitness Classes - Stay active with Yoga or Aqua Aerobics.  
• Helping Hand - A membership program which offers insurance filing assistance, transportation to selected Deaconess sites, prescription drug discounts and many other benefits for those 55 and over. 
• Information & Referral Services - Health Finder staff is ready to guide you to health-related resources to help you manage your health and the health of your family. Check our library of reference materials or we'll help you with a guided Web search.
• Physician Finder -Helping you find the personal physician or specialist for your particular needs.
• Medical Screenings & Health Risk Assessments - Use our affordable medical screenings to keep track of your health and identify areas of concern early.
• Support Groups  - Throughout the Tri-State, addressing a variety of health care issues.
