When is it Time to Seek out Fertility Services?
Some couples question when to begin and how far they want to go in their pursuit of fertility. If you have experienced any of the following, call our office to schedule a consultation.

No pregnancy after six months of trying

Menstrual periods shorter than 25 or longer than 35 days

History of pelvic infections or tubal pregnancy

Repeated miscarriages (two or more)
Physician referrals are welcome but not necessary to set up a consultation/make an appointment with our reproductive medicine team. Referring physicians and patients may either complete the request an appointment form on this page or call us at 812/842-4530.

Boston IVF at The Women's Hospital respects each patient as an individual. When it comes to assessing your chance to get pregnant, we take a personal approach. In your "Signature Success Profile," we assess your chance to become pregnant based on your own health and fertility history. By tailoring our medical evaluations and services to your personal needs, we ensure you receive high-quality treatment. Our team is dedicated to your treatment every step of the way.
The first step in your journey is a fertility evaluation. This is where your physician will document your medical history. A series of diagnostic tests will then be completed to determine the cause of infertility. From there, our fertility specialists will discuss the advanced treatment options available to you. Together, you will formulate an individual plan for evaluation and treatment.
You will also meet with a financial counselor who will inform you in advance of the possible costs associated with specific treatments. Once a treatment option is established, you will be monitored by our staff through each step of the process. Our fertility specialists have an electronic medical record system, allowing them to access any patient record at any time and from any location.
As soon as a successful pregnancy is established, you will be referred back to your delivering physician for continued obstetrical care throughout the remainder of your pregnancy.
