Understanding Hospital Billing

About The Women's Hospital:

At The Women's Hospital we make every effort to anticipate and exceed the health care expectations of women and infants in the Tri-State.
We offer high-quality care and advanced security measures, as in our Level III neonatal nursery. And we continue to grow and enhance our services, often partnering with other top-level providers such as University Pediatric Association from Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis and Boston IVF.
We feel we have something very special at The Women's Hospital, and we hope you will too.

Financial Assistance:

The Women's Hospital treats all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, for emergent and medically necessary care.  The Financial Assistance policy of The Women's Hospital assists those who are uninsured, underinsured, low income or medically indigent by providing financial relief to those who ask for assistance.

As part of the financial counseling application process, the hospital will assess your potential eligibility for health insurance coverage through federal and state programs such as Medicaid.  If it is determined that you may be eligible for one of these programs, the hospital will request that you apply.

For additional information or questions, contact the Financial Counselor at 812-842-4240, 8 am to 4:15 pm CST.
