Growing Awareness for Men's Cancers
Deaconess is encouraging its employees and all tri-state men to put down their razors to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancers as part of “No Shave November.”
Be a Part of No Shave
No Shave November used to simply mean "grow your beard beginning November 1." While "new growth" is still encouraged, the campaign has been expanded to include those who already have facial hair.
We are now asking participants to send us photos that reward creativity, group efforts and even longevity of growth. Deaconess will award prizes in the following categories:
By11:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, submit your contest photo(s) by emailing it to email@example.com

"Shave the Date"
Winners will be recognized at the Evansville Aces "Deaconess No Shave November" game on Saturday, November 19 at the Ford Center. Every man who participates will receive a pair of tickets to this game.
Stop by the information desks at Deaconess Hospital, Deaconess Gateway Hospital or Deaconess Clinic Downtown, or Deaconess Clinic Urology departments beginning October 24 to pick up your "I'm Growing Awareness" button to wear to help explain your changing appearance.

Help Grow Donations
The Deaconess Foundation Cancer Care Fund will be the designated recipient of any funds raised by this campaign. You may make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one. Please note that a donation is not required to participate.
