HealthSouth Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital recognizes that early rehabilitation treatment is critical to help patients achieve their fullest potential following a spinal cord injury. There are issues and unique needs of a spinal cord injured individual that require special attention. The goal of rehab is to assist in developing a lifestyle that will allow maximum functional independence so that a person may return home.

  • Customized wheelchair seating
  • Evaluation for and fitting of adaptive equipment and splinting
  • Comprehensive psychological counseling
  • NDT trained staff
  • Management of bowel and bladder function
  • Independent living apartment
  • Medication management  

Our Services

  •  Team care conferences, patient/family conferences to discuss goals and discharge planning
