Postdoctoral Psychology Residency

The Deaconess Family Medicine Residency Program (DFMR) in Evansville, Indiana offers a full-time, 12-month Post-Doctoral Psychology Residency for individuals who have obtained a PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology. The Post-Doctoral Psychology Resident builds competence toward independent practice of psychology by delivering quality psychological services under supervision of a HSPP Endorsed Psychologist to patients across the lifespan via psychological assessment, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and integrated primary care and consultation. The Post-Doctoral Psychology resident develops and implements clinical research projects that relate to advancing patient care at DFMR.

Pre-Doctoral Psychology Practicum

The Deaconess Family Medicine Residency Program (DFMR) in Evansville, Indiana offers a clinical practicum for doctoral psychology students interested in providing integrated behavioral health and psychological assessment and treatment services. Under weekly supervision with a licensed clinical psychologist, advanced doctoral-level psychology students are given the opportunity to develop skills with a variety of psychological assessment techniques and evidence-based treatment interventions. This is a 12-month practicum opportunity with a 16-20 hour per week time commitment, although other arrangements may be available for highly qualified applicants.
