Scott Cordts, MD
A native of West Frankfort, Illinois, Dr. Cordts graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2002 and then completed his family medicine residency training at Deaconess Hospital in 2005. He subsequently became a board certified family physician.
Dr. Cordts then practiced rural family medicine in Sparta and Marissa, Illinois, for 4 years as an employee of Sparta Community Hospital. While there, he served as a preceptor for family medicine residents at the Saint Louis University Family Medicine Residency.
In July 2009, Dr. Cordts relocated with his family to Evansville to become an assistant director at the Deaconess Family Medicine Residency Program. His special interests include diabetes, asthma, office procedures, and colonoscopy.
