Koren Ganas, PsyD, HSPP

Dr. Ganas is a licensed Clinical Psychologist.  She completed her Doctor of Psychology degree at Argosy University in Arizona with a dissertation focus on stress, illness and healing.  A Midwest native, she obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Dr. Ganas completed her pre-doctoral internship in pediatric and rehabilitation neuropsychology through Beljan Psychological Services and Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Arizona.  She completed her postdoctoral residency at Desert Heights Academy, a day school for children with severe behavioral, emotional and developmental disabilities.

Dr. Ganas has worked in health care and private practice settings focusing on evaluation and treatment of children and adults with chronic health conditions, neurological disorders, traumatic brain injury and developmental disabilities.  She utilizes behavioral and lifestyle medicine approaches to treat illness and disease and teaches a number of evidence-based programs to improve stress management and promote health.

In 2013 Dr. Ganas relocated to Evansville to become a member of the faculty at the Deaconess Family Medicine Residency Program.  She has a special interest in teaching primary mental health care, behavioral medicine and integrative medicine approaches to health and healing.
