All therapists are licensed through the State of Indiana and credentialed through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Respiratory Therapy provides inpatient and outpatient services for children and adults, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

While in the hospital, you may require services from our Respiratory department. The Deaconess Respiratory Team provides support through ventilator management, diagnostic procedures, formal patient assessments, general respiratory care modalities, and education. Our team often treats patients suffering from asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis (CF), lung cancer, surgery or trauma.

The Deaconess Respiratory department is part of the Rapid Response, Code Blue and Trauma Teams, making sure patients receive the best respiratory care as quickly as possible.
