MD Anderson Cancer Network®

Deaconess Cancer MD Anderson LogoMD Anderson Cancer Network® was created to advance their mission to eliminate cancer. The goal of the network is to share expertise and extend research-based, multidisciplinary, sub-specialty clinical care to mission-aligned hospitals and health systems. These collaborations will provide high quality care to patients in the communities where they live.

What does this mean for our community?

This collaboration will provide our local physicians the opportunity to become a certified physician in the network. They can have access to cancer research, clinical trials, evidence-based guidelines, and treatment plans developed by MD Anderson experts. Our certified cancer specialists will also have access to innovative therapies and be able to consult directly with their counterparts at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Deaconess is the 15th certified member of this growing network.

What does this mean for patients and families?

By teaming up with MD Anderson Cancer Network, we're combining the best of what we provide locally with the world-renowned expertise of MD Anderson. We can offer treatment based on the latest research and guidelines developed by leading experts at MD Anderson close to home. In short, this relationship brings a new level of hope to local cancer patients.
