Incentive Programs

A Comprehensive Approach to Employee Wellness

Our Health Care Advocates include registered nurses and fitness professionals. These professionals work onsite at our client companies to facilitate maintenance or improvement of employee health. Most education is done one-on-one to provide personalized recommendations, but group sessions are also available.

Screening Follow-Up

The Health Care Advocate program begins with proactive follow-up related to the health screening. Deaconess LifeQuest Health Care Advocates use research-based clinical guidelines to determine which employees are "at risk" and most in need of wellness intervention.

Health and Wellness Counseling

Health Care Advocates offer counseling and goal setting for risk factor modification related to the following topics, among others:
  • Tobacco Cessation
  • Nutrition Planning
  • Diabetes Management
  • Heart Disease Risk Reduction
  • Fitness Planning
  • Cancer Prevention
  • Osteoporosis Prevention
  • Weight Management
Counseling is intended to help individuals prevent, or better control, disease. Health Care Advocates consider each individual's personal lifestyle when making recommendations, because one approach cannot meet the needs of all individuals. They create recommendations unique to each person and later modify recommendations as individuals progress through the stages of change.

Heath Care Advocate Program

Wellness incentive programs are designed to motivate all employees to make positive lifestyle changes.  A Health Care Advocate is available to coordinate an incentive program at your company site.  They can tailor a program to meet the specific needs of your employee group.
